Video production requires a great deal of travel, electricity, and equipment, all of which leads to a large carbon "footprint" for video production businesses.

At R Cubed Networks, we aim to be the region's greenest video production company through several initiatives:

Green energy: Our office is powered by wind power via PECOwind.

Green travel: We use mass transit when possible, and only use a hybrid vehicle when driving our crew and equipment. Additionally, we use carbon offsets for long-range travel.

Green production: All of our studio and on-camera lights are LED, which use less energy, and give off less heat. We use rechargeable batteries in all of our production equipment.

The little things: We use scrap paper for all of our inter-office documents, and only print as a last resort. We aggressively recycle office trash and equipment.

While we're happy to do our part for the environment, these steps also contribute to make our services more affordable.
